SILEX TUBES MADE FROM HCR SILICONE RUBBER
Silex is producing Tubes made out of Silicone rubber in many variations. Be it translucent, coloured or with special properties like heat resistance up to 300 degrees C., flame retardant according to several norms and compliant with food and technical medical regulations.
The variety of applications is almost unlimited.

The Silex-tubes are generally made in accordance to our customer's specifications. Standard supply forms are loose rolled, rolled on coils or cut in certain lengths.
Types of tubes
Following the special properties of Silicone articles, there is also a variety of Silicone tubes available
- High translucent, or high definition colours (also according to RAL) to meet optical requirements
- Temperature range of -60 degr.C up to 180 degr.C (with special compounds from -100 degr.C up to a maximum of 300 degr.C)
- Self extinguishing qualities (DIN 5510 or UL 94) to allow applications in sensitive areas
- FDA compliant according to BFR XV Silicone und FDA § 177.2600.
- Drinking water compliant KTW BGBI 28, Nr. 12 (1985) (Germany) (A,C1, D1, D2).
- Bio compatible (USP Class 1-6 / EP / DAB )
